Indian Community Associations in Arizona
Arizona is home to numerous Indian community associations.
Whether it is Marathis, Malayalees, Punjabis, Tamils, Telugus or Indian Physicians, almost every Indian community group have their own associations.
Often these Indian associations organize events to celebrate Indian Independence Day, Republic Day and festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Dasara, Diwali, Sankranti, Ugadi and Vishu that bond the community.
Most of these festival celebrations include cultural programs like Gujarati Plays, Yaksha Gana, Carnatic Music concerts, Kuchipudi, Bhangra and Bollywood dance as well as food vendors peddling Dosa, Idly, Tandoori Chicken, Dokhla, Samosa, Dum Biryani etc.
